Blood Bowl is a fantasy American football game set in a version of the Old World, where sporting violence is not only tolerated but encouraged as a perfectly good way to settle conflicts "peacefully". This core box puts you in the role of a coach for either the Brionne Barons or the Nehekhara Nightmares as they face off in enormous fantastical stadiums for glory, profit and the greatest delight of the throngs of fans!

Blood Bowl emphasizes tactics, probability, risky plays and frenetic violence. It's up to you how to run your team: will you favour speed and agility, or will you clear the pitch with some big, hard-hitting players? The game is ideal for long-running Leagues or for one-off Friendly Matches, and will suit all kinds of coaches.
